The old-vine Gamay from Beaujolais macerates for ten months in Chardonnay juice from Bugey: the result is a light red, yet full of fruit, with notes of blackberry, raspberry, citrus, and a lovely mineral quality. Juicy, fresh, and strangely elegant.
